I have shown you this complex when it was under construction. It is nearly finished, and it appears that they are finishing up a child's playground and some park like places and a walkway along the water at Glen Cove Creek. But look at the sheer number of buildings and apartments! It is way out of scale for the place it is built in. It is monstrous. And architecturally it is ugly. You can see it from various places in Glen Cove and Sea Cliff and all of this overwhelms the landscape. We heard from some friends of ours that the units are not selling well. I wonder if that is true. Now wouldn't that be a mess for the builders! Be SURE to click on this and an extra large file will open that will fill your computer screen!

No Thank you. So sad and overwhelming. A quaint village could have been built that would have been inviting and pleasing to the eye and future homeowners.

I'm not sure where to begin but I will start with the old fashion telephone poles which look very out of place in front of upscale new buildings. Perhaps utility lines will be buried as the project nears completion. I did notice a few new trees are on site which, when planted and mature, should soften the look against stone, block and concrete. I agree with Joan that the architecture does not fit with the surrounding area. It seems that Glen Cove does not have a competent city planner and lacks an architectural review board. Waterfront property tends to do well in most areas of the country but if condo units are not selling well then I would say there is price problem as the value of anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Wow! Didn't expect this complex to be this large. Not architecturally pleasing to my eye. It should be selling well because of the location so it must be over priced! betsey
