Well, I had to cross the Hudson River on the way up, and of course I had to cross it again on the way home. I chose, of course, the Tappan Zee Bridge! It was raining on the way home and the windshield wipers were going. It was tough to time my shutter releases so the wipers didn't end up in the picture. The wipers were in maybe 3/4 of the photographs, but I did get this photograph which I love, because of the rain and mist and cloudy gray sky.

While I enjoyed seeing the "Getting There" and "Getting Home" photos of the Tappan Zee Bridge, I feel that today is the day I should suggest you quit while you are ahead. Our reflexes (at our advanced age) are just not what they used to be. The advice I have given to each of my driving age grandchildren is to "expect the unexpected while driving". What if you got distracted by a sea gull hitting the windshield while shooting on the bridge or maybe not seeing a large piece of a debris on the road because you were focused on "getting the shot". My two cents: "quit while you are ahead" with your collection of "shooting while driving photos". More photos of the famous Japanese Maple Tree is a safer bet!
Love it! Where is all the traffic??
