It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

A Blaze of Color
On the way to church today, I drove by this tree and was blown away by the stunning color. There was not time to stop, so I thought I would just hold in my memory the beauty of the moment. On the way home, about an hour and a half later, I drove by it again, and decided to stop and photograph it. I think that since the sun had moved 20 degrees along its path in the sky, the scene was different. I think the color is not as brilliant. Was it the sun, or is it my memory? I could always drive down that road again at 11 AM and see if the tree is the same. Stay tuned.
