Snow on the ground, overcast clouds and flat light. It seems a bit harder to find interesting things to photograph under these conditions. I went out to the side yard, where the remains of last year's garden are silhouetted against the snow. I spent about half an hour looking for interesting compositions. It was a different way to look for things - as silhouettes instead of as three dimensional objects. Maybe in some ways it is simpler, because it is all about design and composition, instead of texture. I think.

In the Garden
Snow on the ground, overcast clouds and flat light. It seems a bit harder to find interesting things to photograph under these conditions. I went out to the side yard, where the remains of last year's garden are silhouetted against the snow. I spent about half an hour looking for interesting compositions. It was a different way to look for things - as silhouettes instead of as three dimensional objects. wow, that's awesome. You'd never know there was an issue finding shots with THIS as evidence. Very interesting.
