It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Ready to Pounce
This is Bebe. Aren't you amazed that I know which cat this is? (I had to ask... ) She is sitting on the radiator, looking intently, ready to pounce. I love the intensity of her gaze. The light was just right, and I first saw the shadow on the wall behind her - that's what caught my attention, because here ears were moving and the shadow moved. She didn't stay here very long, but long enough for me to grab a camera.
I love how you've captured the details of the house, too—the basement door, the old knob, the doorway molding, the radiator cover. This could have been taken 60 years ago, too. Though then it wouldn't have been Bebe...but would you have known the difference? :)
