I thought I would go see what I could find at night, for a bit of a change of pace. Found this down by the water. My favorite line of trees along Shore Road, but this time, seen from the water side, instead of the road side. I love how some night shots can look other-worldly. And pretty too, just unfamiliar. I need to look for even more nightscapes.
It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer
Holy cowee wowee! This is awesome! It's literally a sight I've never seen, despite having lived there for more than 20 years...
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if something's on fire!
ReplyDeleteOf course I absolutely love the colors...bsk
I never get tired of seeing this stretch of road along Hempstead Harbor; and when I was living in Sea Cliff I always looked forward having a few moments with the water before turning up Laurel Avenue. The explosion of color in this photo is dramatic!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for all the nice comments. I thought the photo was "OK" but I didn't realize how many people would like this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnother one for your "Postcards from Sea Cliff" collection.
