It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Now it Begins...
They are forecasting six to ten inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. I went outside just now and it is only snowing very fine flakes. Thought I would do a "before and after" if tomorrow we get bombed with snow. It always makes me crazy when there is snow in the forecast - tonight the whole news show was ALL about the snow that is coming! Give me a break! There are other things going on in the world! End of rant... :-)
What a beautiful shot of Laurel Avenue during a snow-storm. So peaceful and quiet. When growing up in Sea Cliff we used to sled from the top of Laurel all the way to the bottom - was quite a ride on a toboggan but a long walk up !!
