It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Visions of Childhood
Another day of blue sky and brilliant sunshine. I went out to the garage for something and noticed the shadows of some trees on the snow. For some reason it brought back memories of childhood. I think maybe it was about some memories of black and white snapshots my mom took of me standing in the snow in the side yard when I was very young. I am not sure, but the snow and shadows resonated within me in some way. The snow was so beautiful and smooth and had these wonderful gentle curves coming down off the little hill up in the back. I spent about half an hour looking for images and found a bunch, and I think this is the best. It was wonderful to be outdoors today!
