It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Gravity Waves
This is James, a college professor and a member of our astronomical society. He was the speaker at tonight's meeting, and his topic was "What Ever Happened to Gravity Waves." I can't even begin to tell you all about this subject, but James did a great job of explaining the theoretical basis of their origins, (if they exist) and the efforts to build detectors to find them. Some of the explanations made my head hurt, but it was a great presentation. I love this shot! He moved around a LOT, so I had to shoot a great deal to get this one.
