It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Tidal Marsh
I have been riding my bike around sightseeing, instead of for exercise while in Milford for a few days. I used to ride my old balloon-tired bike here with friends as a kid, and we would go out on the marsh at low tide and look for fiddler crabs. Not to do anything with, but just to see them. I rode by here yesterday and saw the way the marsh grass was pointing in different directions, and it reminded me of the fur of some animals. It almost feels alive, or something. They do look like furry animals with those little dark holes masquerading as eyes.
