It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

The Contest
This is the last snow. Now that it has been raining for two days straight, this too is gone. I was joking with the neighbor next door that we were having a contest to see who would have the last snow of the season. This was by the driveway where the snow had been piled three feet high at one point. The neighbor's driveway snow was higher than that - I should know, I helped shovel it. So she wins. We are both glad it is finally gone!
You'll be swapping the snow blower for the lawn mower soon enough.
ReplyDeleteAre you saying that this is the last of the snow currently on the ground??? Because you do know that we live in an area that could have a freak snow squall at any time between now and May??? :)..
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other comment...you'd better start tuning up that lawnmower. That snow's melting on GREEN grass.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. We have a home movie that Ken video taped of the snow on the trees on St. Patrick's Day several years ago. Guess our daughter, Amy, gets her optimism from her father!
