It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Fireworks!
We went over to our friends Larry and Nancy's house last night to watch the fireworks. We have done this for a few years now, since their house overlooks the harbor. Only the fireworks were supposed to be Sunday night this year, and we were away. Boo Hoo. But then they called and said there was a postponement, so we got to see them after all. What was really nice this year, and I don't think I have ever seen this before, was that they started the fireworks when there was still light in the sky. It was a nice effect - you could see more detail in the surroundings.
SPECTACULAR!!! The various colors from the sunset are absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was a completely different experience to see the details in the sky while the fireworks were going off.
