It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

Before the Colors Fade
I posted a photograph of this whole tree two weeks ago. About a week later I looked out at the tree in the morning, and the colors had faded a bit, but more importantly there was some fog behind it. The whole scene was much more subtle than my other photograph of the whole tree. So I hope that you won't be completely bored by yet another image of this scene.
A tree with this many leaves after Sandy? What a treasure! Beautiful colors; lighting is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments. We are on the west side of a small hill, so the trees here were sheltered from some of the strong winds. What's also interesting is that the image of the whole tree I posted earlier doesn't seem as strong as this closer version.
