Saturday morning the forecast was for possible rain showers. Imagine my surprise when it started snowing, and within a few minutes, the ground was white. The snowflakes were huge - I am sure that they must have been almost an inch across. They were light, and fell slowly, and stuck to all the tree branches. It was beautiful in an instant. Only thing was, we had to drive to Connecticut, and the road was covered. After driving about two miles south, however, there was no evidence of snow! Amazing how localized the weather can be sometimes.
Pretty, but I am not looking forward to the storm that will start this afternoon.
