We had an observing night tonight at our astronomy club meeting. The turnout was astounding and we had people of all ages. This is Alexis, our youngest ASLI member and she is being helped in observing the moon through her telescope by Dave, who does the programs for the Planetarium. Alexis and her mom came with some of her young friends and their mom. They were all really excited about seeing the moon through a telescope!
Love that the children are showing an interest and the expression on her face is priceless. It is wonderful that you and members of your club volunteer to share your love of the sky.

Oh that is SO cute. She looks so eager and awed! If you can get kids seeing the magic of the skies at a young age like this, you really are making a difference. —Amy
