When I am desperate, I put the Micro-Nikkor Lens on my camera and go outside and look for close-up images of things. I got about 3 feet outside the back door, and happened to look down at two flower pots that used to hold fall flowers - I have no idea which ones. But to see the silvery stalks all curled around among the brown leaves seemed to make an interesting texture.
