I went to "Fun City" today to go to a giant photo show at the Javits Center of all kinds of photographic equipment - more cameras and lenses than you could shake a stick at, as well as lights and lighting, backgrounds, books, photographic papers for inkjet printers, photo albums and gadgets. All around the convention floor there were demonstrations by photographers showing how to light, and compose and pose models. So I watched this photographer explaining how how he was going to use flash units to create a nice portrait of this model.
