Venice Electric Light Parade

In Venice, California there are always interesting things going on, all the time. When we were leaving the beach on the Sunday night before Christmas, there were a whole bunch of lights in the distance, and liz said "It's the Sunday night bike ride!  It is called "The Venice Electric Light Parade!"  I had my camera ready but the bikes were moving along quickly so I didn't get that many good shots.  But there were all kinds of bikes with all kinds of lights all over them, or bikes towing trailers.  Anything you could imagine and everyone was having fun displaying their handywork with lights!

This is the first photograph that I took as the bikes at the head of the line approached us.  It was such an amazing, fun thing to see!

Love this! Lots of bikes, lights and exciting. Is this parade every Sunday or just for the holidays?

This looks like fun! I like that it promotes bike safety. Plus, adults and kids can do this every week. Lots of creativity decorating the bikes.
