One day recently I happened to look to the north while standing outside the garage and I loved the delicacy of these whisps of cirrus clouds. So I went and got one of my cameras and shot a few frames. Kind of pretty to see these in a dark blue sky. But THEN...
For some reason I happened to tilt my head back and look straight up and I could not believe my eyes! I have NEVER seen cirrus cloud like these! And I nearly missed this just concentrating on looking to the north. I could not believe my eyes. They were moving through rather quickly so I only had maybe a minute to get these clouds framed between the trees. What an astounding sight!
