It may be work, it may be play, it may be near, it may be away. So here is the challenge - to shoot and post one photograph a day on this site. These photographs are a kind of diary of things I find interesting. I am also thinking that there will be days when I am unable to shoot, so on those infrequent occasions, I will post a photograph done on another day, but one that still feels important to me. - Ken Spencer

The Red Room
I was going to take a giant family photo at the graduation, so I went into the house to make sure that no one was left in there. I turned the corner from the back room, and ended up in this room. I was stopped in my tracks! Wow! It was just amazing, the sense of light and color. Hard to know what grabbed me first, the light or the color, but the combination was an instant "Yes!" So then I had to run out to the back yard to find my camera. I did, and raced back inside the house to make sure that the light hadn't changed. I really love this shot.
I am so surprised you did not have your camera on you. :) The light and color are very striking, the pattern adds something too.
