I was making my two mile walk back from dropping my car off at the shop for a NYS Inspection, and as always, I carry my camera and look for photographs. I saw these wild Roses, I think they are, on a fence surrounding a whole collection of marine equipment. I composed carefully to leave out the chain link fence and I think I have a nice composition. But then after getting that shot it occurred to me to back up just a bit and show you where the roses actually are!
They are less than a foot from the sign announcing the marine facility! Then I thought it would interesting for you to see where they actually are. In the first photograph, you might think they were in someone's garden!

These roses are gorgeous. I would not expect them to be blooming so early in the season.
