How's this as an attention getter? Wow! Amazing! And a bit scary as well. It is an advertisement for something - perhaps liquor. The thing that is being advertised is on another wall of the building, to the left of the portrait. I was stopped dead in my tracks, seeing this, and figured that it would make an arresting photograph. Brilliant advertising idea.

That is Ray Liotta, believe he is advertising for a new(ish) tequila called 1800. Ray has played a lot of tough guys in movies - his best role being in Goodfellas which is a great rental if you have not seen it. Several scenes filmed at Idlewild Airport in Queens. As a history buff you know of course that Idlewild became JFK but the name Idlewild came from the name of the golf course which used to be on the site.
Thank you for all that information. I was aware that it was Ray Liotta, who was really scary in "Goodfellas" one of the great movies of all time! And... I did not know that Idlewild was a golf course. I actually like that name for an airport... :-)
