It was an absolutely beautiful day today, and so I decided to go by the water. I have photographed this scene so many times before, but I couldn't resist photographing it again. Something about the blue sky and puffy white clouds that grabbed me, and then, of course the green marsh grasses. It makes me thankful for the ordinary in life, and the beautiful.

Beautiful. Yesterday Betsey and I walked around the beach. It was so clear looking across the sound and the straight line of clouds were amazing. A beautiful breeze and so relaxing. We both took out our phones and snapped a few photos.

Joan & I had a wonderful "vacation" day! Long walk around the beach, lobster rolls and steamers for lunch, relaxing in beach chairs until late day on a perfect weather day. Of course, we couldn't resist taking photos all day :-) This newest photo is now my screen saver as it's so calm and comforting to see when I open my laptop. bsk
