I spotted these plants on Amy & Gus' front porch. The orange flowers at the top are "Bird of Paradise" blossoms. But what caught my eye were the succulents in the pot - I love their subtlety. There is something else growing in the pot, but I had to crop it out so that there was only the lawn in the top of the picture - just above where I cropped is a black iron fence which I wanted to eliminate. I like this photograph because the plants seem so distinctly California.
