So I have shown you the outside, and now here's the inside! All the insulation was installed, and I didn't take a photograph quickly enough and suddenly all the sheetrock was installed! The 3-man crew that showed up put up all the sheetrock in under three hours one morning! The first picture is looking toward the door to the kitchen from the fireplace, and the second picture looks toward the fireplace. I cannot believe the speed with which this is all happening.

It looks like the project is now in the home stretch. Crack the whip and you could be in by the end of the month! It will feel amazing when you can sit in the room for the first time - with some luck, maybe the evening will be cool enough to use the fireplace!
No whip cracking here. The builder has been absolutely great, and has a lot on his plate. We are amazed at the speed with which he is working. We'll take reaching the finish line on his schedule!
