The ferns are up! It has been raining all week, and it seems as if the ferns on the front bank have exploded from the ground. A week ago there was evidence of a few wispy ferns emerging from the ground. When I went to get the mail today, I think it was the aroma of them that caught my attention. It is a very distinctive smell, and I enjoy it each spring. I did a couple of different views of the ferns. This one is more of a pattern shot. Maybe I will post the other one - it is so different.
