The Collector

This is another photograph from yesterday of the ice on the harbor.  This was one of the first pictures I took, and I was sure this was going to be the blog.  But later on, as you saw, I did the picture of the circle of ice held against the sky.  What was happening here, was that the woman's daughter was picking up blocks of snow and ice, and piling them along the edge of the boat ramp, just for the fun of it.  The woman told me "Oh, she's a collector..."  In this case, the young girl carrying the ice really makes the shot!
