Once again, this is my favorite tree, as you know. Usually it is photographed with the sunlight behind it. This afternoon I walked down the driveway to get the mail, and on the way back up, noticed the direct sunlight on the trunk. This is a different look for the tree than I am accustomed to, so I thought I would take this picture. It has a completely different feel than all my other photographs of the subject.
