With all the trees in bloom, I decided to see what the trees look like from above. I saw an amazing series of two photographs taken by a newspaper photographer for The Daily Herald in Illinois recently. He photographed his backyard with a drone last Spring, and then did the same photograph this year. Last year's trees were in full bloom. This year the trees looked dead, because Spring is so late this year, at least in Illinois. I hadn't noticed Kathy walking over to her garden, which I captured without knowing it.
