A Man and His Drone

My friend Stan bought a drone for a project he has been working on for a long time, about the horror of internment camps for U.S. Citizens of Japanese descent that was done during WWII.  He and an author friend of his have done two books and now they are working on a website.  So he will be taking his drone and going out to some smaller cities in California to document the remains of various detention centers.  So he and our friend Preston will be coming out here on Monday so we can fly his drone and he can have a chance to get familiar with it.  You can't fly drones in Manhattan at all.  Here we will go to a ball field in town with all kinds of room.  So with all this talk of drones, I got mine out today and did this photograph in our side year of the Japanese maple and all the leaves on the ground.  Kind of a cool shot I think.  I posted a larger image so when you click on it you will see a lot more detail.

Love this photo. Your red coat and hat really stand out amongst all the fall leaves and color. I 3rd the idea of a jigsaw puzzle.

A jigsaw puzzle! Wow, I would not want to work on that one! Last Christmas when we were in Los Angeles at Liz and Sarah's home, they were working on a puzzle and the pieces were SO tiny and all looked the same! But they got it all together, which amazed me.
