This is almost a familiar view of Hempstead Harbor. We discovered a bench under a tree that I had photographed so many times and thought it would be a better place to have our coffee and donuts, because on a sunny day, we would be in the shade of the big tree, instead of sitting in the car. So today, with Liz, we went to Dunkin' and got coffee and donuts and tried out our new spot to sit and have coffee!
I didn't have a tripod with me so I took this photograph of Liz and Kathy sitting on our new favorite bench with their tea and coffee. The donuts are long gone!

What a special surprise to see Liz visiting. Nice photo of them sitting on a bench in the shade, rather than sitting in your car. :-)
