Kitties Need to Explore

I am in the process of painting the dining room ceiling. But first, of course, I need to repair some cracks in the plaster. This means digging out the lose plaster, and then using joint compound to fill in the places where the original plaster is missing. This is a messy job. You can tell, because I have put plastic on the floor to protect the rug during this work. What is always funny is that the minute something changes in the house, like plastic on the floor, the kitties can't WAIT to go exploring. They just have to walk all over everything, just because it is there. They are cautious and tentative, but they just HAVE to walk on this!
