This is the view through an artwork that is like a Kaleidoscope. But unlike a Kaleidoscope, the two reflecting glass surfaces are not tilted to meet each other. The piece is called "S-334473" and it is by Sarah Oppenheimer. This device weighs a few hundred pounds, and is made from steel and thick glass. You walk up to it and look through it and then grab the end of the long rectangular part, and using a fair amount of force, you push on it, and it goes through an arc, from horizontal to vertical, and the glass sides reflect what is seen through it, creating a complex view of what is seen without reflection, mixed with what is reflected. It is a brilliant device and turns your world askew. And it is fun as well. You cannot believe how heavy this is, or how interesting the view is!

I have looked at this so many times yesterday and today. I just can't figure it out.
