OH NO, HE IS PHOTOGRAPHING WHILE DRIVING, AGAIN! No I am not! Notice that I am not sitting in the driver's seat! Stan is driving this year, so I can sit on the rider's side and photograph to my heart's content, and be safe! It is actually so much better to be looking out the window all the time, while photographing.
I always stop at the beautiful Vermont Welcome Center about 6 miles after you cross the Massachusetts and Vermont state line. The building is beautiful and I have photographed it before. The landscape and gardens are also so pretty so I always like to wander around and look for photographs, like this one.
The sky was threatening, so I didn't wander down to these fields, where they have old horse drawn farm equipment. We went into the building to look around and the rain began and waited out the rain by photographing and looking at some of the Vermont crafts while we waited for the rain to clear.
The roads were wet as we set out on the final leg of our trip. I love how the clouds of spray are picked up by the tires of the large trucks. It was a great trip with the only bad traffic being from Sea Cliff to the Throg's Neck Bridge. That 30 minute trip took an hour.! The rest of the trip was easy.

Must feel nice to take photos on a trip without the worry of crashing your car!!! Enjoy your “chauffeur “ while it lasts :-) I like the patio scene at the Welcome Center. Betsey
Love the photos of the field in the visitor center. Vermont is such a beautiful state. Trace
Love the table and chairs nestled under the group of trees. Wonderful spot to enjoy your lunch or dinner if the weather is good.
