It was the color blue that caught my eye as I passed this scene on the way to the bagel store this morning. I have photographed this scene before - in sunshine and snow, in fog and in rain. Today there was enough haze in the background to set the tree and bench off from the background. Here's the other thing - it is a public park, and there have always been one or two garbage cans in the photographs that I have taken before. That kind of ruins the effect, so it was so nice to see them gone.
