I spent a good part of yesterday raking leaves, and then putting them into plastic bags for leaf pickup. What was wonderful was the aroma of the leaves - it was as if I was swimming in them. The wonderful scent made the work seem like play. I happened to notice this one leaf that was not damaged, and I was taken by the almost straight line on the bottom of it. It turns out that almost all the Maple leaves are like this. I photographed it against the lawn so that the outline of the leaf stands out.
