Laying Block

I hope you will be patient with me while I post more construction photos.  They are really not very interesting as photographs, but I want to document the project some, so the blog is the best place for me to put photographs where I can find them later on, and save them in the context of the flow of time.  These photographs are after the first day of setting concrete block by the two masons, father and son.

I love that you are posting the building progress. After watching the power plan be dismantled for so long, it is fun to watch new construction from the ground up. Did they skip one block on the left for air circulation?

I am also glad that you are posting the building process. After all, this is being added to your house so it makes it more interesting. Just like the roof, chimney, front steps and kitchen ceiling, it must be fun to look back at various home projects that you've accomplished! Glad you are letting a father & son team do the work this time :-) Looking forward to more...bsk

Thanks for encouraging me in posting the progress of the addition. Interesting idea that I have spent so much time showing demolition!
