We went for a walk on the boardwalk today, at Venice Beach. When I am looking for a photograph, the scene at the Venice Beach boardwalk never disappointments. I spotted this man, wearing a top hat, as he stared out to sea, after lighting a cigarette. He had his arms in various positions over a period of a minute or two, and I shot about a dozen frames. This one is the most effective.
