The Young Entrepreneurs

Today was a perfect day for a walk!  Snow everywhere, and pretty pictures to be found.  As I walked down Laurel Avenue I saw these four guys headed up the street with snow shovels, looking for driveways to shovel.  About half an hour later, up closer to town, I saw these three younger kids, also with snow shovels.  So I took their photograph as well.  I also did a number of lovely photographs showing the beauty of the snow - stay tuned.

Happy to see this. Hope they had a lucrative day.

This was like finding a rare coin on the beach! For the past 20 years at least, no one has come to my door asking if I wanted to hire them to shovel snow! How I wish they were around my neighborhood!

This was interesting to hear. We have never had anyone come to our door, when our driveway was filled with snow. One time a man with a shovel was walking up the street, and I didn't say anything to him, then suddenly realized I should get some help, and ran after him. I don't know how kids walking along manage to get work, though.
