Walking on a Rainy Day IV

I love the subtlety of this shot.  It is Scudder's pond, which I have shown you many times.  Because it was foggy and rainy, there was not a breath of air blowing, and the surface of the pond is mirror-smooth.  And that gives us a mirror image of the trees in the water.  Not brilliant Fall color, but some color on a few of the trees.  I do like the muted colors - it is not garish.

Very pretty. It is so calm, it takes a minute to see the pond line.

Knowing the women in your life love jigsaw puzzles, my immediate reaction is that your photo of Scudder's Pond would make a very challenging puzzle.

A beautiful photo. I love the different trees and colors and the reflection on the water. It really captures fall and a quietness of the season. I also like the bird in the background. Trace

Trace: That's awesome that you saw the bird! I hesitated to even mention it because it was so small in the distance! You win the prize!
Primo: A maddening puzzle that would be, indeed!

Funny how big brother mentioned it being a great photo for a jigsaw puzzle....as I thought the exact same thing (although I'm a tad late to reply)...our mom would have loved that picture as a jigsaw puzzle!!
