It rained again yesterday. But I had to post the photo of George, so I have saved this for today, a day late. It has been so hot, and so dry. I heard that usually there is one heat wave in August, but this year we have had three and it is only July. Maybe I will show you how awful the lawn looks - I don't believe in watering it. Anyhow, with the rain pouring down, I spent time trying to find something pretty, and came up with shooting the overflow from the gutter (I know, it's clogged.) as a close-up. I tried wider views, but this was the strongest with the feeling of water. I love the light delicate colors of green from the leaves of the hickory tree.
