When I went to the city a week or so ago, I grabbed this photograph at Jamaica station. What I found interesting was that there was a solitary passenger standing on the platform. Usually the platforms are filled with shoulder to shoulder passengers. So one person standing alone and checking his email seemed like an unusual scene, and I took the picture.

I love the composition of this photo. And if I had to take a wild guess, I would say this lone commuter is an over-paid (and over-weight) Hedge Fund Manager on his way to Wall Street!
