Flowers

Yesterday, after photographing the fishermen in the middle of the day, I decided to go for a  2 1/2 mile walk along the harbor, back to where I did the earlier shot.  It was much later in the day, and the light was fading.  I came upon this bouquet of flowers tied to this bench overlooking the harbor!  What's funny is that when I passed a previous bench, there were some evergreen branches and a red bow.  Usually there are some kind of Christmas decorations on each bench, but this was unusual.  These may have been left here by a member of a bridal party - there is a restaurant across the street when bridal receptions are held.  I love the feeling of these abandoned flowers at dusk, at the end of the day.

Ken - just loved your previous pic of the Sea Cliff "fishers" but for me todays photo tops it - capturing an iconic Sea Cliff setting !!! Wonderful.
