The Rehab, Inside

I photographed the outside of the house that is being rehabbed at dusk, because I loved the light.  But I have been curious about what's inside the house.  Months ago, before the house was put up for sale, there was a sale, and people were going in and out of the house to buy furnishings.  I wish I had gone in just to see what the house looked like then.  Anyhow, the other day, when the sun was shining, I decided to walk up on the front porch and take a photograph through the large glass window in the front door.  You can see that they are stripping everything out - lathe and plaster walls, and ceiling plaster, and even some of the flooring. So this rehab is going to be a big job!  Notice that there is a beautiful chandelier hanging in the top of the picture.

interesting, looks like they are renovating rather than knocking down which is good for the neighborhood ! Appears the house has some pretty good bones - love the flooring and the chandelier. Not much insulation back then !!! Hope you continue to take photos as the house progresses.

I will try to take photographs as the work continues. Getting inside may be a problem, but we'll see.

After looking at the mess in the middle of the floor, I noticed the chandelier. Can't believe it's still up while they continue the rehab. Looking forward to future photos to see the progress. betsey
