Hipstamatic

The reason I first wanted to get an iPhone, other than to make phone calls, was because there was a really cool app called "Hipstamatic."  It is a photographic application, and when you use it to take pictures with an iPhone, the pictures can look lots of different ways, but mainly they look like faded snapshots from the 1960's.  I used it a lot in the beginning, but haven't used it for several years now.  So I started experimenting with it today, and this is Grace sitting in the window.

You do know that when you buy a plant you are allowed to remove the barcode from the pot. It's just like the tag on the mattress - perfectly legal for the buyer.

My usual "A Picture Each Day" routine is to check out your post, digest it, then if inspired make a comment later in the day. The composition couldn't be more perfect! I love the unexpected color tones of today's photo which make the image look more like a painting than a photo. But...., as with Photodude, my eyes went right to the yellow label on the flower pot, which I found a bit distracting. In any case, I now feel motivated to try a little iPhone Hipstamatic photography myself!

My eyes went immediately to beautiful Grace, the lighting of the curtains and beautiful greenery outside. LOL, I had to go back and look at the photo with the flower pot and Photodiode comments.

I agree with everyone. The cat is beautiful. I love the look, the colors and even the white frame around the photo which reminds me of an old photograph. I, too, also noticed the barcode tag, LOL. Trace

Thank you all for loving the photo of our kitty! It was wonderful to see so many comments - even from Photo Dude! :-) And I get an "F" for not using Photoshop to cover up the tag on the plant. I am not allowed to remove any tags from the plants because that's Kathy's department... :-)
