In the old days, we would rake all the leaves from our yard down to the street, and the village had a leaf vacuum truck that drove around during November and December. Not any more. We were required to put our leaves in clear plastic bags. OK. So I went out and bought a box of a hundred bags, because that's how they come, and I have a lot of years ahead of me. Two years later, the village said no more plastic bags. Instead, we have to buy paper bags, because they are biodegradable. So we bought a bunch of these bags, and raked for two days. Man, that's a lot of leaves. Now if only they will come and pick the bags up...

Happy I no longer have to that. Used to rake and fill 40+ bags, and you are in better shape than I am. It feels good at first but then gets tiring.

Hi Joan: You sure are right about that! Raking and bagging get boring very quickly... :-)
