I turned the next to last corner to get to Laurel Avenue and saw this scene, and given that this was after 3 PM the light was perfect for illuminating these grasses. And the bonus is that in the background are two trees showing fall colors. I am thrilled to find this photograph today, so close to home. As you know, I have been really looking for fall color and even though this is not a blaze of color, it has a wonderful sense of fall.
