Handcrafts

Kathy and Liz decided to experiment with making things from "Sculpy."  It is like a modeling clay that you heat in the oven at low temperature to harden when you are finished.  Liz made a really tiny unicorn, which she is holding with her fingers on the table, and Kathy made a tiny blue elephant.  They had so much fun making these tiny animals, and worked so hard at it.  It was fun watching them working together and enjoying each other's company.

The joy of spending time crafting or doing puzzles together shows in their smiles. I imagine it is much harder working of smaller intricate objects. Thinking of my own fat fingers. Great job girls.

A nice photo of Aunt Kate and Liz. It looks like a relaxing activity to do together. Glad Liz was able to get home and you all had time together. Trace

Yeah, you gotta' keep checking on the parentals! You leave them alone for any time at all and there is no telling what they will start doing! :-) I have a new favorite T-Shirt. It says "In my defense, I was left unsupervised..." Hysterical, right?

I love seeing Liz and Kathy working on crafts. Cute miniature unicorn and a possible "Aladdin's Lamp"...? Love seeing more of Kathy's dolls in the background. They are quite unique. Wish we could have visited but I know it was a short visit. So nice to see Liz's smiling face! betsey
