I have posted photographs of ice crystals before - most recently on January 7. So you might wonder why I photographed them again. Two reasons - one is, because these feathery looking forms are unlike any I have seen before. The second reason is that Dean says I never get close enough when I do my close-ups. I think this is an improvement on how I normally shoot. These forms are astounding, aren't they? Be sure and click on it to see all the detail.

Magical!! LOVE this one. So different because it's such a thin vertical. Love the fern-like design. bsk
