It Has Walls!

Three carpenters came today to start a push to get the framing and siding and roof done.  The plan is to get the addition to where it is waterproof, and then they will break into the little back room, and see what they have there.  They may have to reframe a large portion of the back room, before tying the two structures together.  The really cool thing is that we can walk around on the floor and get a sense of the size of the room and see the location of the windows and the gas fireplace.  It is now getting to be fun!

You will love your new addition and your gas fireplace should put out more than enough heat to make that room and kitchen area toasty warm on cold and snowy winter days. What is the expected completion date?

Happy to hear you will have a gas fireplace. I wish I had gas here as I would convert everything. Fun to see the progress.

We have no idea of the completion date, and that's OK. We have a great contractor who is very exacting in the work that his carpenters do, and we are good with that.
